These chicks are coop ready, 8 week old sexed hens, available for local pick up only in Layton, Utah during the first week of April. Purchasing this reserves one chick for you for pick up in April.
Chocolate Orpingtons are a new addition for us this year - I've been wanting to add them to our flock for some time because I love our Lavender Orpingtons, Tire Fire and Grey Hawk so much. They produce 200 medium to large eggs every year. They are a dual purpose breed, used for both meat and laying. They are also know for their docile temperments. This breed is both cold and heat hardy - perfect for our climate here in Utah. These chicks are well socialized, healthy and vaccinated for Marek's and fowl poxs.
