These chicks are coop ready, 8 week old sexed hens, available for local pick up only in Layton, Utah during the first week of April. Purchasing this reserves one chick for you for pick up in April. 
 
Delawares lay 4 large to jumbo brown eggs each week - up to 200 a year. We like this breed for several reasons, they are a dual purpose breed meaning that they can be used for both meat and eggs, they are not generally a broody breed and are considering recovering on the livestock conservancy list - you won't find Delaware's just anywhere!  These chicks are well socialized, healthy and vaccinated for Marek's and fowl poxs.
